The science programme of the SLS is carried out by a SLS Science Consortium gathering over ~140 scientists worldwide. The SLS consortium includes in particular a strong French and Canadian core team, illustrating the fruitful collaborative expertise built up over the last few decades of shared observing effort at CFHT; it also involves Switzerland, Taiwan, Brazil & Portugal, as well as a few scientists from other countries.
